You’ve gone through all that work to create your free offer (whether it’s new or updated) .….
Don’t let all your time and efforts go to waste! Remember you want to grow your mailing list with it. So let everyone know about it.
Here’s 3 ways to market your free offer:
1. Social media
- Create new covers for it so that your social media pages will always have them displayed. You never know who will click on your social media pages to check you out. You can create one for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social media accounts easily on Canva and you can do that with a free account.
- Create new posts about the content but remember the 80 / 20 promo rule when you’re posting it. For every five social media posts that you send out only one of those should be promotional.
- Write a blog about it. It’s a great way to expand on the benefits of your free offer without feeling limited (like you do on a landing page where it needs to be to the point) and it’s another page online that tells people about it. Don’t waste that valuable online real estate where you have the opportunity to add additional SEO and keywords so that search engines will pick up on it.
3. Email Announcement
- Send out an email to announce this new offer to your mailing list. Just because the free offer is available on your website and will be promoted through social media doesn’t mean everyone will discover it. So send an email about your new amazing offer you have for them. Don’t forget to include the image for it and the landing page url.
